Quality Assurance Engineer

A new opportunity has arisen for a driven, detail orientated individual to join our Product Information Management team, based in Limassol, Cyprus.

Overall Purpose of Role:

To plan and test scenarios and cases in parallel with the development flow by being also involved in the early technical design discussions and business reviews in order to fulfil quality requirements for our products.

Main Activities and Responsibilities

  • Review business requirements and technical design documentation
  • Develop and maintain test scenarios and test cases to ensure that what is delivered is consistent with internal client requirements
  • Conduct tests as appropriate, (for example, Unit Testing, Integration Testing and Behavioural / Acceptance Testing)
  • Report bugs, re-test and close bugs
  • Streamline test scenarios
  • Participate in technical scope and deliverables meetings
  • Participate in business reviews of requirements where appropriate
  • Maintain QA documentation at a detailed level

Other Features of Job

  • Working 0900-1800 Monday to Friday. Role of Trust which may include overtime/weekends as part of the job; on call as and when required

Experience

  • Previous experience in a QA or similar role
  • Diploma or degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent
  • Background in financial services or FX would be ideal. 
  • Website QA or development experience
  • Experience in PhPUNit, SeleniumHQ and LAMP
  • Fluent in English (spoken and in writing)
  • Prior financial trading firm experience and/or familiarity with option pricing mode

Web Developer

We are looking for a versatile web developer with extensive knowledge of PHP programming and ideally a strong grasp on unix based systems and system administration to join our web development team in Limassol, Cyprus.

Overall Purpose of Role:

Applicants will work as part of a small, hard working team of developers and QA Engineers to help develop and maintain the company’s websites and other projects both new and ongoing. This means you should be able to analyse and integrate well with existing code, as well as providing new and constructive solutions.

All candidates will use a local development environment (which they should be capable of maintaining) and code will be pushed through a pre-production environment for testing before being moved to production.

Responsibilities include:

  • Development and optimisation of both new and existing projects
  • Extensive PHP / server side programming
  • Development of modular / reusable code with MVC frameworks
  • Extensive JavaScript / client side programming including API integration
  • Interpretation of design specifications / images to fully responsive pages

Experience

  • Comprehensive experience in PHP / MySQL including experience using server side MVC frameworks (CakePHP)
  • Proven experience in unix server administration (CentOS for servers, Fedora or similar for local development)
  • Proven experience in front end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Experience with version control software (Git)
  • Experience using client side frameworks (Bootstrap 2/3, jQuery)
  • Ability to analyse and integrate well with existing code
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills

Beneficial Experience:

  • Experience in process automation (deployment code, bash, phing, envoy, etc)

Digital Marketing Specialist – Cyprus

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a results driven and action orientated individual to join our Digital Marketing team, based in Limassol, Cyprus.

Overall Purpose of Role:

To drive marketing strategies and marketing communication efforts to the areas of focus through various digital marketing channels. The primary goals are to influence the consumption of trading, drive the reputation of easy forex and help propel a culture of trading.

Main Activities and Responsibilities

  • Maintain content on the corporate blog aligned with overall content strategy via freelance writers
  • Work with the digital marketing team to coordinate and create new landing pages for online marketing opportunities through the internal content management system
  • Collate and report back monthly on performance statistics for all digital communications across all channels, using these statistics to influence future digital activity.
  • Contributing to the organization’s Social Media accounts ensuring all copy is relevant for the different platforms.
  • Contribute to the overall company’s email marketing campaigns as part of the digital marketing team.
  • Tracking and reporting on email campaigns in order to guide improvements.

Overall Purpose of Role:

Main Activities and Responsibilities

  • To service clients with regards to their trading needs: Quote prices, provide market information, change S/L and T/P accept limit orders.
  • To manage on-going private client relationships and take proactive steps to maximize client satisfaction.
  • To update market information on the EF trading Platform (Update the Financial Calendar, etc.).
  • To monitor the quality of the company rates by comparing/benchmarking against those of other providers.
  • To open and close the VIP Client Relationship desk at specified hours.
  • To keep up to date with market information and monitor trends in all major currency pairings.

Overall Purpose of Role:

To efficiently handle all outbound calls from sales leads/registrations, and meet agreed personal targets with regards to sales of company products to our Arabic, Hindi, Polish and English speaking clients.

Main Activities and Responsibilities

  • To handle new client leads (first contact) daily
  • To proactively promote easy forex and easy forex products in order to meet established marketing plan goals and annual sales revenue

Experience

Overall Purpose of Role:

Overall responsibility for providing after-sales support to clients who have activated their trading accounts.

Main Activities and Responsibilities

  • Responding to client requests and questions via, telephone, chat and email
  • Assisting with any and all after-sales issues, which may include: collecting documents, withdrawals, deposits, funds transfers, account creations, trading issues, etc
  • Assisting with client training and guiding them in learning how to operate the trading platforms
  • Coordinating with the sales team and other relevant departments to properly and effectively assist clients
  • Other duties as required (sales performance reports, administrative tasks)
